Terms of Service

Plain-language terms for using our AI companion chat. If anything is unclear, write to hello@aigirlfriend.co.in and we will improve the wording.

1. Who we are

aigirlfriend.co.in (the "Service") is an AI companion chat product. When this document says "we" or "us", we mean the team that operates aigirlfriend.co.in. When it says "you", we mean the person using the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use aigirlfriend.co.in. The Service contains adult themes and is not suitable for minors. By creating an account or using the chat, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

If we have reason to believe you are under 18, we will suspend the account and delete its data.

3. What the Service is — and isn't

The Service uses artificial intelligence to simulate conversation with fictional characters. The characters are not real people. The Service is not a substitute for real relationships, professional therapy, medical advice, legal advice or any other professional service.

If you are in distress or thinking about harming yourself or someone else, please contact a local crisis line or qualified professional. The Service is not equipped to support emergencies.

4. Your account

  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
  • You may not share your account with anyone, including minors.
  • You may delete your account at any time from settings. Deletion is permanent and we cannot restore it later.

5. Acceptable use

To keep the Service safe and usable for everyone, you must not:

  • Use the Service to generate content depicting minors in any context.
  • Use the Service to threaten, harass or impersonate real people.
  • Use automated tools to scrape, reverse-engineer or stress-test the Service.
  • Attempt to override safety filters that exist for legal reasons.
  • Use the Service to plan or carry out illegal activity.

Violations may result in immediate account termination, with no refund of any unused subscription time.

6. User content

You own the messages you send. By sending them, you grant us a limited license to process them solely for the purpose of delivering the Service to you — for example, to generate replies, store memory snippets you've enabled, and back up your data on your behalf.

We do not sell your content, and we do not use it to train general-purpose AI models. See the Privacy page for the full data picture.

7. Subscriptions, billing and refunds

  • Most features are free. Paid plans cover voice minutes, custom personas and image generation.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from settings.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not pro-rate refunds for partial periods unless the law in your jurisdiction requires it.
  • Refunds are issued case-by-case. Write to billing@aigirlfriend.co.in if something went wrong.

8. Service availability

We aim for high uptime but the Service is provided "as is". We may take it offline for maintenance, security or capacity reasons. We will give reasonable notice for planned downtime.

9. Changes to the Service

We may add, change or remove features over time. If a change materially reduces what you're paying for, we will email you in advance and offer a refund for any prepaid time you can't use.

10. Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time. We can terminate or suspend your access if you violate these terms, with or without notice depending on severity. On termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days unless we are required by law to retain it longer.

11. Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by applicable law, our liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous twelve months. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or incidental damages.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute that cannot be resolved by writing to us first will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the city where our registered office is located at the time of the dispute.

13. Updates to these terms

If we make material changes to these terms, we will publish the new version on this page and update the date at the top. Continued use of the Service after the change means you accept it.
